I'm just a girl in the world
I am a native Pittsburgher living in Dallas, TX, an aspiring minimalist (tell that to my 67 pairs of shoes), wannabe food critic, skilled multi-tasker and visual perfectionist. I am the executive social planner for most every person in my life, strongly opposed to summer Netflix binges, retired captain of an adult championship kickball team (why grow up?) and a strong proponent of taking the road less travelled (I hate sitting in traffic). I love most sports (curling does not have me yet), TED Talks, places I have never been to, good company, conversation and craft beer.
A Penn State alum, I bleed blue and white. The University has been a part of my entire life because a man name Joe taught hundreds of thousands of students to believe in success with honor, which I live to embody every day. It also may have a little to do with the Penn State cheerleading outfit I wore for most every Halloween throughout my childhood. Nevertheless, my loyalty and pride for my Nittany Lions runs far and deep. #WeAre
Calling a ballpark an office is something a lot of people dream of, I was lucky enough that for seven years, it was my reality. I began my post-collegiate career with the Pittsburgh Pirates against the advice of many of my sports obsessed comrades. The absolute worst team in the history of baseball when I began, the team nowadays is in the upper echelon as a three-year consecutive playoff attendee. I helped create experiences, strategize growth, drive revenue, build relationships, and played an integral part in not only the rebuilding and restoration of the Pirates brand, but created irreplaceable experiences and memories for clients, and cultivated a new generation of fans.
I believe in saying yes to new adventures. I have a passion for creating, writing, and learning. I aim to be fearlessly authentic, and am as loyal as they come. I live for experiences and people, not things. I have an insatiable curiosity, and believe that well-crafted media and art, can tell an incredible story. I fell in love with sports when I was just a little girl. While I am sure there is a combination of moments that lead to this, ultimately for me, sports exemplify the cliché that anything can happen. Underdogs exist because they accomplish the seemingly impossible feats and the unfathomable dream, becomes a reality. For me, I carry this beautiful cliché into all aspects of my life and believe hard work, innovative brilliance, exuberant enthusiasm and a great team, lead to incredible ideas and the accomplishing of equally amazing things. For every problem there is a solution, it may not yet exist, you just may have to create it; and the opportunity to do so, is incredibly exciting.
